Watts Up Meter

The Standard model measures voltage and current thousands of times a second so it has an incredibly fast response time which enables you to "see the surge" of power when appliances are first turned on. The peak value display captures this surge so it is displayed even if it happens too fast to see live. The minimum RMS voltage display shows the line quality and voltage dips. Minimum RMS current and minimum watts can be used to monitor variances in appliances that run continuously.

Kill a Watt Meter

Simply connect appliances to the Kill A Watt™, and it will assess how efficient they are. The large LCD display shows consumption by the Kilowatt-hour, just like the power company, and also displays voltage (V), line current (Hz), current (I) and more. Students can calculate the cost to run any device with this inexpensive and easy-to-use meter.

Testers:

 Ground Fault Receptacle Tester

The Ground Fault Receptacle Tester and Circuit Analyzer tests ground fault receptacles by overloading circuits and tripping GFCIs. Designed for ease of use, the user needs to simply plug the tester into any circuit protected by a ground fault receptacle (110-125 Volts AC), and press the black button to overload circuit. The tester tests for seven conditions including ground fault interruption, open ground, open neutral, open hot, hot/ground reverse, hot/neutral reverse, and correct wiring. An easy to read succession of yellow and red lights provides indication of circuit status or specifies wiring errors. Easy to read from multiple vantage points--top, side, and bottom--the tester is an ideal choice for personal or professional use.

Fluke Electrical Testers

The Fluke T5 Electrical Testers let you check voltage, continuity and current with one compact tool. With the T5, all you have to do is select volts, ohms, or current and the tester does the rest. OpenJaw™ current lets you check current up to 100A - without breaking the circuit. Its tough test leads stow neatly in the back of the tester, making it easy to tote the T5 in your tool pouch. Detachable SlimReach™ test probes are customized for national electrical standards. The test leads accept optional accessories such as clips and specialty probes. The optional H5 holster lets you clip the T5 onto your belt. Available in 600V and 1000V models
